**Salary**: The salary range for this position is CAD $65.54/Hr. - CAD $84.29/Hr.
Summary:
Within the context of a patient, client and family centred model of care and, in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of Providence Health Care, promotes a safe, respectful, and civil working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff.

As the Director, Financial Planning & Reporting you will lead the development, mission, strategies, and goals of the department to ensure the optimum delivery of financial services and resources for the designated operational areas. You will direct the operational oversight and implementation of the organization's Financial Planning (operating and capital) portfolio including:

- Preparation and analysis of PHC's operational financial and activity budgets,
- Multi-year corporate operational and business planning processes, financial forecasting,
- Monthly and annual operating budget preparation,
- Related reporting of PHC's financial position for presentation to the Executive Director, Senior Executive, Audit & Finance Committee, Board and Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.

You will also be responsible for leading the team in developing the annual operational budget, monitor and evaluate finance performance to the assigned budget and provide resource recommendations to the portfolio’s management groups.

What You Bring:
**Education, Training and Experience**:

- Professional accounting designation (CPA-CMA, CGA, CA) and a Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or other relevant discipline.
- Extensive leadership and Financial Planning experience in a large complex organization.
- Healthcare experience is an asset.

- Demonstrated ability to bring together and lead diverse groups collaboratively.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, across all organizational levels.

- Effective facilitation skills and the ability to motivate and influence leaders.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing business case proposals.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and achieve work-life balance.

**Your day-to-day**:

- Overseeing financial services for PHC clinical and support programs, collaborating with program leaders and executives on annual operating budgets and ongoing financial performance monitoring.
- Contributes to and implements organization-wide budget management strategies, aligning strategic priorities with operational and budget plans.
- Manages development, monitoring, analysis, and assessment of organizational financial and workload performance.
