Billing Clerk

**Overview**

**Duties and essential job functions**
- Collect necessary information required for billing purposes.
- Accurately and efficiently input data into B&R Eckel’s Transport Ltd. billing program from bills of lading to generate probill documents for the delivery of goods and freight.
- Familiarize oneself with the documentation and processes associated with handling dangerous goods.
- Prioritize billing tasks effectively while adhering to B&R Eckel’s Transport Ltd.'s expectations
- Ensure consistent and reliable attendance while being accountable for duties during scheduled billing hours on Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

**Qualifications**:

- Reporting experience and being hands on and need mínimal supervision with the ability to multi
- task
- Detail-oriented, manages deadlines well, and are able to work independently.
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Knowledge of relevant accounting software
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Experience in the freight industry considered an asset
- Experience with Truck Mate considered an asset

**Required**:

- MS Office (strong intermediate/advanced Excel skills are required)
- Detail oriented
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Strong analytical skills to review and interpret billing data

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
