**Position Overview**

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled IT Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. As an IT Technical Writer at Greenworks Tools, you will play a crucial role in translating complex technical information into clear and concise documentation that supports our range of IT products and services. Your work will ensure that our clients and internal teams have access to accurate, user-friendly guides and manuals.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, write, and edit clear comprehensive technical documentation including user guides, manuals, and technical specifications.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in all documentation produced.
- Organize and maintain documentation library and version control in a confluency library.
- Conduct reviews and updates of existing documentation to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT to gather requirements and improve documentation processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve documentation practices.

**Qualifications**
- Certification in IT area - Bachelors/ diploma with relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a technical writer in the IT industry, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and version control systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus as well as experience using confluency/JIRA.
