**Summary of Position**

Our Bistro Team Members master a wide variety of food & beverage functions, from serving Starbucks coffee and other beverages, to preparing and delivering meals and alcoholic beverages within allotted time frames as well as assisting with banquets.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Process all orders and collect payment from customers, and provide assistance in food & beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage prep areas, counts the till at end of shifts, and follows property control audit standards and cash handling procedures
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
- Develop and maintains positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
- Is available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bistro/Banquets food and beverage operations as directed by the Operations Manager or immediate supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Smart Serve certified
- Possess strong interpersonal skills as well as strong customer service skills
- Must have a basic knowledge of dining room service procedures and functions
- Must be flexible with scheduling; mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Possess basic mathematical skills and have the ability to handle money
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: From $16.18 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Shift:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)
