We are looking for a responsible and self-motivated individual to work as the Deli and Store Manager. This new employee will be working alone as well as in a team setting, and so they must be able to work well with others and be self-motivated to do what the store needs.

- You have 1 year of deli or grocery store leadership experience
- You can work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings and weekends

**Qualifications**:

- Three to five years of professional experience in the Food industry
- Previous leadership experience
- Demonstrated data entry skills; ability to use computer software
- Positive and results oriented attitude; to prospect, communicate and identify opportunities for success
- Motivated self-starter
- Strong ability to maintain positive relationships at all levels
- Food Safe BC Certificate
- Serving It Right Certificate

**Job Overview**:Reporting to the District Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Collaborating with team members to ensure every guest feels “at home here.”
- Provide support to surrounding company stores as a commissary store
- Building professional relationships with customers and reps.
- Promoting health and safety practices.
- Foster a positive team culture with clear communication and motivation.
- Ensure fresh, high-quality deli products are prepared and displayed.
- Run shifts to ensure day to day deadlines are met;
- Ensure all staff are following Company Policies & Procedures;
- Delegate tasks to team members;
- Follow-up to ensure team has completed the required tasks for their shift;
- Daily paperwork;
- Maintain food safety and recipe standards
- Finding other staff members to over shifts in the event of sickness or other absence;
- Receive & check incoming stock;
- Inventory counts as directed;
- Listen and respond to customer complaints (escalating complaint to Store Manager if necessary);
- Take responsibility for your shift and ensure all shift tasks are completed
- Training new & existing employees;
- Other duties are directed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Leadership: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serving It Right (preferred)
- Food Safety Certification (preferred)

Work Location: In person
