**JOB DUTIES**:
Workers' responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Complying with all safe work procedures promoted by Proactive
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Co-operating with the site safety officer to maintain the site OHS Program
- Following WHMIS Regulation
- Reporting observed unsafe conditions to the foremen and site safety officer, as soon as possible
- Reporting all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity
- Receiving required medical attention for any injury
- Co-operating in accident investigations to prevent re-occurrence
- Informing the foreman of any physical or mental impairment, either through medication or illness, that may affect one's ability to safely perform any task, before beginning work
- Refusing assignments where a reported or observed impairment may jeopardize themselves or others, and when training has not covered the tasks required to perform the assignment
- Reporting any observed impairment of others to the foremen, as soon as possible
- Supplying accurate personal information during training, and when receiving materials
- Refusing to participate in any unsafe actions on the jobsite
- Operating machinery only when all required guarding is in place and proper authorization given
- Using tools and equipment as instructed
- Reporting to work free from alcohol or drugs, in both possession and influence
- Wearing suitable personal protective equipment correctly, and ensuring proper working condition
- Participating in daily toolbox talks and offering recommendations

**SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma/GED and Hazmat experience or certification is an asset
- Labourers of all experience levels required to work on hazardous materials (asbestos, mould & lead) abatement crews throughout the Lower Mainland
- All orientation, training & safety equipment will be supplied
- Must have CSA approved steel toed work boots
- Must be clean shaven as respirators will be fit tested at the orientation
- Construction experience an asset
- WHMIS training 2015 an asset
- Arrive on-site on time, able to lift 30 lbs. or more
- Good people skills - work well with teams
- Good level of communication skills
- Able to work different shifts as required
- Reliable; Dependable

**Salary**: $20.60-$28.10 per hour
