The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the consistent upkeep of the Best Western Marquis Inn property, in order to provide a safe and clean environment for guests and staff.
REPORTS TO: General Manager
DUTIES:
Daily inspection of the building and parking lot
Maintain all equipment, building and grounds
Complete all work orders assigned in a timely fashion
Write accurate description of work orders in progress or completed
Duties assigned by Manager
Assist with minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, dry walling and furniture repair.
Ensure filters are inspected regularly and changed as necessary
When on call inform desk of where you can be reached and if called, respond promptly
Maintenance of heating and cooling systems
Shampooing rugs
Pest Control
Cleaning, vacuuming and upkeep of hallways, lounge, beer store and all other areas of the hotel
Other duties as assigned
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
