Soccer Coach

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, develop, and implement training programs and practice sessions tailored to the team’s needs.
- Motivate, mentor, and develop athletes to maximize their potential.
- Develop strategies and game plans for competitions.
- Analyze team performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and organizational leadership.
- Manage team logistics, including schedules, travel, and equipment.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices and competitions.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a head coach or assistant coach at a competitive level.
- In-depth knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Relevant coaching certification(s), such as:

- Canada Soccer C Licence: The entry-level course for the Licensing Stream pathway, preparing coaches for the Development or Performance Stream.
- Ontario Soccer Grassroots Diploma: Supports coaches in grassroots and competitive environments, focusing on stages of player development.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate athletes of diverse skill levels.
- Commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
