We are currently seeking highly motivated, service-oriented individuals to join the Retail Operations Department for **full-time, part-time and casual BARISTA **positions. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Retail Operations, Supervisor, Leads, this role is responsible for:
**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Providing exceptional, professional service to our clients, guests and delegates in a timely manner.
- Preparing espresso-based coffees, teas and other drinks.
- Processing guest transactions with accuracy.
- Serving and restocking our freshly made in house pastries, sandwiches and other F&B products.
- Setting up and tearing down the ‘pop-up’ style Retail F&B outlets.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the cafés and working within Food Safe preparation standards and procedures, as well as within Provincial Health Order and WorkSafe BC regulations.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous customer service, cash handling or barista experience is preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude with an ability to model our high standard of service excellence.
- Serving it Right Certificate is required and Food Safe level 1 preferred.
- Ability to adapt between different demand levels and work efficiently when high-volume.
- Strong communication skills, proficient in spoken and written English and a professional presentation.
- Physically fit to meet the requirements of role such as standing for extended periods.
