Fortinet is recruiting a skilled Network Specialist to join our cloud network team based out of Burnaby, BC. This team is responsible for deploying and maintaining Fortinet cloud infrastructure. This position would represent a great fit for networking specialists with a combination of physical and virtual networking experience.

**Responsibilities**:
The Cloud Network Specialist will help with the deployment and maintenance and monitoring of Fortinet cloud infrastructure. The network specialist will ensure that the network is running efficiently by collecting performance data, addressing any security-related concerns, anticipating problems and doing the necessary troubleshooting. The cloud network specialist will also work with other teams to provide network access and services as required.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience with Layer 2 LAN technologies such as STP, MSTP, RSTP
- Experience with HA related protocols such as VRRP, MLAG
- Experience with monitoring tool and protocols such as SNMP, Syslog
- Experience with network protocols such as ARP, DHCP, DNS, VRRP
- Experience with Layer 3 routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP
- Experience with NGFW and network security systems
- CCNP level or higher
- Good to have knowledge of network automation
- Good to have knowledge of SDN
