Belvika uses its extensive experience in managing both manual processes and automated equipment to handle primary and secondary packaging of products for some of the world’s best known confectionary brands.

Belvika is currently seeking a **Reach Operator** **to assist the production team. The role is on a day shift and will be located at the Goreway facility located in Mississauga.
- Receive inbound loads as per the receive order created in the WMS system by scanning pallets and moving them in to staging locations;
- Load outbound loads as per the ship order created in the WMS system ensuring accuracy by scanning on pallets and verifying quantities;
- Ensure pallets are put away in racking and appropriate floor locations after receiving;
- Wrap product securely and make sure the pallet tag is fixed and visible from 2 sides (where applicable);
- On instruction from the Line Lead
- Move packaging materials from the staging area to the line
- Move bulk from staging area to the mezzanine floor for the Line Supplier
- Move finished product away from the production line ONLY when advised by the Line Lead AND that the pallet has a completed pallet tag attached
- Move pallets or components from staging areas to production lines
- Take the wrapped product to the shipping/staging area;
- Ensure production lines are appropriate amounts of bulk and packaging
- Ensure the pallets requested in racks are brought to lines in appropriate time
- Ensure all pallets are being scanned during every movement (this includes from the racking or stage locations to your truck, to the line, into the racking or stage areas);
- Ensure shipping/ receiving and racking lanes are cleaned at all times (sweep and empty garbage when directed to);
- Ensure housekeeping tasks as assigned are completed;
- Ensure any issues with forklifts are documented and reported on a daily bases to your Supervisor;
- Ensure that forklifts are kept clean and tidy after use;
- Ensure iPads and scanners are properly signed out and charged accordingly at shift end;
- Any other duties as directed by the Distribution Supervisor or designate.

**Education/Work experience requirements**:

- Reach certification required
- Experience in a fast pasted environment
- Food industry experience an asset

- Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task;
- Excellent reading and oral communication skills;
- Able to work in a team environment;
