BizTech College is looking for an experienced individual who has handled Finance Services in college or educational environment. This strong personality will be responsible for providing information to students about the fee structure regarding the courses including available financial aid options. The person must have at-least 2 years of OSAP knowledge to deal with students. In addition, the administrative duties will be performed by the incumbent as required.

**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The incumbent will be responsible for managing the workflow of student fees and financial aid services at campus.
- Identify opportunities for student funding and agree with students to acquire further documentation to complete the files while obeying to the legalities of the freedom of information and privacy act.
- Responsible for all aspects related to the student financial services portfolio containing, invoicing, and collection of payment, student refunds, and record keeping.
- Experience of negotiating the repayment plans.
- Provide timely adjustments, reporting and verification on various requests related to student statement of accounts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for student financial aid and advise the appropriate method to choose the financial plan.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager.

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in OSAP Educational environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in education-industry is required.
- Knowledge of Campus Login will be an asset.

**JOB TYPE**:
Full Time

**WORK HOURS**:
Hours of work will be assigned by the Mississauga Campus, General Manager.

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L5R 0H2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)
