**What you will do**
- As a Creative Writer reporting to the Regional Creative Director, you’ll bring a stellar work ethic and a focused tenacity to the group of Rogers Radio Eastern Creative Writers. You’ll create memorable, provocative and highly effective spots for a wide range of clients. You’ll carry your ideas all the way from conception to completion, working with account reps, the production team and the traffic department. You’ll enter materials in the Wide Orbit traffic system and make sure that the right stuff airs on the right stations at the right time.
- Write great scripts and develop ad campaigns that deliver on client marketing goals - always to time, and sometimes in a hurry.
- Accurately prepare and schedule creative instructions in the WideOrbit Traffic system
- Liaise with Sales, Traffic, Production, Imaging and Promotion departments
- Regularly meet with the Creative Manager to discuss progress and ways to improve efficiency within the Department
- Other related duties as needed

**What you will bring**
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Great copywriting skills and production savvy, as demonstrated by your radio demo
- Must be highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of CRTC regulations and ASC standards
- The ability to take your job seriously, but NOT take yourself seriously
- A winning sense of humour (we’re a busy team, so you’ll need it)
- Total disdain for cheap puns and tired ideas.
