Locates, ships, tracks, receives, and returns material among Region of Waterloo Library (RWL) branches, and other locations and library systems. Processes new library materials added to the collection.
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required**:
- Knowledge of current public library circulation practices and procedures, online searching, alphabetizing/organizing material/data, and customer service, acquired through a Grade 12 education plus 1 year of related public library experience.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with corporate policies and procedures.
- Time management and organizational skills to plan work to meet delivery schedules.
- Communication skills to exchange information with library staff; respond to inquiries from library staff and the public; and participate as an effective team member.
- Computer skills with ability to use software such as a computerized catalogue system, Microsoft Office, databases, and the Internet.
- Ability to alter hours when providing back-up duties at branches; is requested to work weekends for same.
- Ability to travel within Waterloo Region.
- Ability to support and demonstrate the Region’s values.
