Reporting to the Senior Construction Manager, the **Construction Coordinator** provides support to the Development team for the implementation of construction projects from start to finish. Project support activities may include, but are not limited to: project coordination, financial services, managing communication.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Support the day-to-day administrative requirements of all ongoing construction projects & contracts.
- Input all budgets and billable items into Yardi for work approvals, generation of purchase orders and project cost tracking.
- Assist with construction project planning, start-up and execution.
- Assist in creating and issuing monthly reports.
- Vendor management.
- Review project documents to ensure consistency in information.
- Identify conflict between contract documents and invoices received.
- Monitor and ensure all project information is kept up to date.
- Track projects and ensure they stay with approved budgets.
- Schedule and attend meetings. Write and distribute minutes.
- Quality control of suites and common areas.
- On-site inspections.
- Other duties as reasonably required.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years' construction project coordination experience.
- Experience working with construction budgets.
- Experience working in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with Yardi software an asset.
- Valid Class G Driver’s License and access to own vehicle is an asset (roles requires on-site presence at multiple locations).
- Superior communication skills, verbal and written; bilingual (English & French) is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a real estate or related environment considered an asset.
