Workday's Financial Management Applications help our customers achieve the highest levels of business performance and financial excellence by accommodating multi-entity, multi-book, multi-currency requirements for global organizations, supporting alternate chart of accounts, and global tax framework. About the Role Our Global Foundation Product Management team is seeking a Senior Product Manager, with proven understanding of global Accounting, Tax and Financial Reporting. This is a mission critical role and we're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager with both a passion and proven success in building financial products that are capable of delivering on complex requirements that differ across industry and geography. You will work closely with Functional and Technical architects to expand our global platform capabilities. You will define a compelling global product vision with actionable requirements and collaborate cross-functionally across the company, our customers, and our partners to bring that vision to fruition.- - Collaborate internally with the functional & technical architects, engineering and QA teams to transform customer pain points into functional designs and storyboarding.- - Develop presentations, mock-ups, flowcharts, and product demonstrations to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders. About You Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of experience as a product manager, enterprise financials systems manager, finance professional, functional consultant or indirect tax enterprise product specialist- Minimum 3 years experience across AP, AR, GL, Tax or Record to Report as part of a corporate finance or accounting team, or certifications such as a CIMA (Certified Management Accountant), ACA (Chartered Accountant) or ACCA (Certified Accountant)- 4+ years experience collaborating closely with developers or technical teams to ensure the customers’ requirements translate into the right end-productOther Qualifications- Ability to build wireframes, mock-ups, or other visualizations to help bring a concept to life and explain the opportunity and solution to your audience- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams, across multiple time zones & countries- Experience articulating product requirements, break down features and prioritize backlogs- - Demonstrated ability to be the voice of the customer for multiple teams and projects- An initiative taker, early adopter, technology enthusiast Workday Pay Transparency Statement click here Primary Location: CAN.BC.Vancouver Primary CAN Base Pay Range: $124,200 - $186,400 CAD Additional CAN Location(s) Base Pay Range: $124,200 - $186,400 CAD Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
