BGC of Central Vancouver Island (BGCCVI) is a registered non-profit and charitable organization serving over 1000 children, youth, and families in Central Vancouver Island area through enriching programs in 14 locations. **What’s in it for you?**

**Program Leader**:

- Assists with developing fun and engaging programs and activities for kids aged 5-12 years in Out of School Care or in full-day care when school is not in session.
- Provide active supervision of children, and ensures their health, safety, and wellness.
- May participate in the development of individual care plans for participants as needed.
- Encourages and facilitates the participation of individuals in the program by creating a safe and fun atmosphere in which children can interact.
- Maintains appropriate records and statistics and ensures that all required documentation is accurate and complete (e.g., incident reports, daily log sheets, attendances, etc.).
- Adheres to BGCCVI Policies and Procedures, Community Care and Licensing Regulations, and other requirements and general safety standards.
- Ensures that the facility is always safe and clean.
- Other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Successful completion of Agency screening process, including criminal record check to work with vulnerable population (must be at least 19 years of age)

**Nice to Haves**
- Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR-C (or willingness to obtain within first 3 months of employment for full-time employees)
- Class 4 Driver’s license would be considered an asset (or willingness to obtain)

Part-time hours: 0-40 per week
