Carmichael is looking for a Refrigeration technician to work in our scientific division. Experience on ultra low refrigeration and environmental chambers is an asset. This position is full time/permanent and starts immediately.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment for customers in the healthcare, laboratory and manufacturing industries
- Performing on site calibrations for temperature, humidity, CO2 and speed
- Putting together repair estimates and ordering parts where required
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements
- Assisting with customers' queries

**Requirements**:

- Refrigeration license
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Client focus; dependable; reliable; flexible
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working on Ultra-low freezers, laboratory fridges, environmental chambers, incubators, centrifuges, freeze dryers and other laboratory equipment is a benefit
- Any applicable manufacturer training is an asset (Thermo Fisher, Thermotron, Eppendorf, Sheldon, PHCbi, etc.)
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Enhanced problem-solving abilities
