Our commercial landscape company is looking for a full-time, experienced irrigation technician to join our team in Kelowna, BC. Our expanding landscape company is offering a great opportunity for an experienced irrigation technician to work on our residential and commercial projects. We operate Monday to Friday with the option to work Saturdays as required. This position offers benefits after 3-months and room to grow within the company.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Interpreting irrigation plans and implementing full irrigation installs according to those plans and details.
- Identifying site or design issues and problem solving to find solutions/workarounds.
- Full start to finish system installs, winterizations, and trouble shooting pressure, timer, and wiring issues.
- Forecasting materials needs, placing and receiving orders, and keeping the sites orderly and all parts accessible, organized, tracked, and accounted for.
- Directing, managing, and communicating effectively with a small crew during installs

**Assets to the Position**
- CIT 1 Irrigation Certified preferred.
- CIT 2 Irrigation Certified an asset.
- Valid drivers license preferred.
- Experience with a range of irrigation timers inclusive of Rainbird and Hunter products an asset. Specifically, Rainbird’s LXME range.
- Experience with the install of flow sensors and master valves an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and site conditions expected.
- Effective communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills.

**Compensation**: $30.00 - $35.00 / Hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
