**Role Description**
The CAD Drafter is responsible for preparing projects for fabrication through detailed shop drawings, CNC programming and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery. The drafter works closely with the operations team to maintain workflow, manage revisions, and assist in technical and design documentation throughout the production process.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create and revise shop drawings for furniture and millwork projects.
- Ensure drawings are approved and meet project expectations.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams as needed.
- Take accurate site measurements when required.
- Support CNC programming using Mozaik or software.
- Maintain workflow and follow project timelines.
- Assist in solving design-related issues during production.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Tools & Software**
- AutoCAD (required).
- Mozaik, Sketch-up, Revit.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

**Qualifications**
- Certificate, diploma or degree in Computer-Aided Design or related field.
- Proficientcy in AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with Revit, Mozaik or Sketch-up is an asset.
- basic understanding of construction or woodworking practices is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and technical drawings.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written)
- Motivated, adaptable, and willing to develop new skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
