Food Counter Attendant

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter and dining area in compliance with sanitation standards.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Follow food safety guidelines and best practices for food handling to ensure quality and safety of all products served.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
