- acilitating weekly Team Huddles and one on one meetings with team members. E
- ffectively analyzing, developing, and implementing efficient claims processes, procedures, and methods to assist with improved processes and results. P
- roviding guidance, on-the-job training, technical instructions, and direct leadership to assigned staff relative to performance, productivity, personal conduct, and adherence to processes and corporate policies and procedures. P
- roviding on-going performance feedback and designing development plans when needed. C
- ompleting monthly audits by reviewing and monitoring claims files and providing effective feedback. F
- ostering staff development by assisting with the selection of staff, conducting performance evaluations, providing ongoing and effective feedback, identifying training opportunities and keeping staff informed of changes to policies and procedures. I
- nitiating interviews for vacancies within the unit and making recommendations for new hires. F

**hat you bring to this role? P**
- rior proven record of Leadership experience required M
- inimum of 5 years' experience in bodily injury / casualty litigation claims. S
- trong technical skills in Ontario Auto/Bodily Injury and general liability claims and ability to handle technical issues within the team. National technical file handling experience is an asset. D
- emonstrated organizational, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills are essential. Team Culture focus is essential. E
- xperience with the performance management process. A
- bility to exercise high level vision to understand and support a national team. U
- niversity degree in any discipline o**r a** college diploma in one of the following programs: (2-year diploma from a provincially recognized and funded community college in: Insurance, Law & Security, Loss Control or Business Administration) o**r t**he CIP designation. S
