We currently have an employment opportunity for a full time **Bell Person**to work primarily **overnight shifts** (11:00am to 7:00pm).

Do you love helping people? We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic bell & door person to become our newest team member and help our guests have a great stay with us. You’ll meet and greet guests when they arrive and leave, bring luggage to guest rooms, support the front desk staff, and assist guests as needed to ensure that when they leave, they’re already looking forward to their next stay.

The position would report directly to our Front Office Manager.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assisting with guest needs and requests, i.e. luggage handling, parking and direction inquires;
- Reconciliation of Hotel Guests parking registration;
- Provide information on the city and surrounding area;
- Assist guests with bag storage, room amenity needs & deliveries;
- Ensuring the front driveway is monitored and kept clear of parked vehicles;
- Maintain a Tidy work environment at the Front Desk and Lobby area;
- Know and follow all workplace rules and guidelines for emergencies;
- Represent the hotel through excellence in Guest Service.

**SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads;
- Self motivated;
- Outgoing personality and ability to work well with people;
- Good communication skills both written and verbal in the English language (a second language is an asset);
- Excellent knowledge of Vancouver, attractions and restaurants;
- Must be a team player and have good interpersonal relations between department and guests;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
