**ACRO DANCE INSTRUCTOR**

**Tuesdays**:
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

**Sundays (if interested in private lessons and developing choreography for the students)**

*Schedule flexibility, between 10 am and 4 pm

Pay: varies based on experience and education
Start Date: as soon as possible

In this role, you will be responsible for teaching Acro dance to students (Levels 4 and up). Our uplifting, positive, and professional studio requires an outgoing, enthusiastic and dependable team-player; we provide full administrative support, and a fun, respectful environment in our immaculately clean and state-of-the art facility. Our studio supports continuous learning, and provides excellent opportunities for the right individual to grow their experience and knowledge through an array of company-sponsored events and educator certification programs.

The ideal applicant for this position:

- Has ADTA and/or Acrobatic Arts teacher certification (or similar)
- Understands physical and mental developmental age appropriateness, learning strategies, and provides a safe and encouraging classroom for all levels of students
- Possesses a positive, inspiring, enthusiastic attitude and professional behaviour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A minimum of 2 years of dance instruction experience in a classroom leadership role
- Aptitude and experience developing dance routines for showcase performances (recital) and/or competitions
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C/AED certifications considered an asset
- Passionate about dance, teaching, and furthering their skills and experience
