Success in this position requires a proactive approach to securing freight, negotiating rates, and fulfilling all load-booking tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

**About Briere Transportation**

For years, Briere Transportation, an Asset Based carrier, has helped shippers succeed at every turn in their supply chain. Our services, however are not limited to standard freight transportation, Briere Transportation also specializes in customized solutions for the Production and Entertainment industries in addition to warehousing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and book shipments for Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) cross-border and interstate trucks using load boards, software, and other shipment sourcing tools.
- Dispatch 10 loads per day
- Progressively build a pipeline of customers and develop strong relationships.
- Complete cross border paperwork for ACE, ACI, PAPS and PARS.
- Ensure OTD KPI is meeting customer expectations.
- Assign trip and movements in the TMS. “Tailwind”.
- Maximize Daily and Weekly Load Planning through HOS Utilization.
- Daily communication with company drivers and owner operators.
- Working within tight schedules, with daily fluctuations in volume, and being adept at improvising to assure a timely and safe delivery.
- Working knowledge and adheres with all DOT Canada & USA rules and regulations.
- Perform operational analysis and recommend modifications to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Collaborate with Sales ensuring execution of capacity requirements while meeting or exceeding Revenue targets.
- Other assigned tasks and responsibilities as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Logistics Diploma CITT, PLOG (Desirable)
- Previous experience in Leading and Dispatching Transportation Fleet
- Minimum three years with CND/USA cross border experience.
- Fleet TMS Software; Tailwind, GEOTAB, Loadlink, DAT, BorderConnect.
- Managing Departmental Key Performance Indicators.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Likes to have “FUN”
