**WAREHOUSE PERSON - PART TIME**

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a warehouse person in a busy warehouse environment in North Bay, Ontario.

Normal hours are from 2 AM until 6 AM, may be longer depending on volume.

**MAIN DUTIES**:
Perform manual labour including but not limited to:

- Unload and/or load trailers safely, correctly and quickly
- Accurately sort & process, by deadlines, in-bound and outbound material
- Assist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands, etc.
- Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area
- Handle shipments in a manner that minimizes damage
- 100% accuracy in sort to minimize missorts
- Paperwork is 100% complete, accurate and on time
- Shipment processing complies 100% with Transport of Dangerous Goods requirements
- Follow policy and procedures as outlined by operations supervisor and lead hand
- Maintain a secure and safe working environment for all staff
- Comply with Collective Agreement and Canpar Manual
- Alert operations management of service issues immediately as they occur
- Other warehouse duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Able to work effectively and on-time within tight time constraints
- Able to lift up to 75lbs
- Team player attitude and strong ability to follow directions
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal record background check

**TERMS AND CONDITIONS**:

- Must be 18 years or older
- No Criminal Record (for which a pardon has not been granted)
- We offer competitive starting wages with opportunities for advancement
