Parkland County has _temporary, full-time_ positions available for Maintenance Service Worker I - Parks Workers working from approximately May to the end of August 2025. Reporting to the Supervisor, Parks, you will assist in the day-to-day routine maintenance of Parkland County parks. This position will be required to perform manual labor, operate light equipment, and maintain established maintenance standards in all County parks as well as other related duties. You must be able to deal with general public in a courteous and effective manner and work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience operating grass mowing and trimming equipment.
- Must have a Class 5 Driver’s License. A current Driver’s Abstract must be provided.
- Standard First Aid and CPR would be an asset.
- Able to work outdoor in various weather conditions.
- General construction labour experience is an asset.

An hourly rate of pay of $27.35 based on 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling as required.
