Figure Skating Instructor

Paramount Ice is looking to add Figure Skating Instructors to our team

This posting is hiring experienced instructors (CanSkate, NCCP or equivalent is required).

**From September 29 - December 15.**

**North York, ON, M3J 2P7**

**Sundays 9:45am-10:45am, with further opportunity at 12:55pm-1:45pm and into 2025.**

**Hours of Work**:Weekends. Applicants must be available for the entirety of the 12 week program. We also run a variety of birthday parties, events and private training and need our applicant to be willing to fill in for needs of the business.

**Duties**:

- Deliver engaging and effective instructional lessons to students according to the program plans set out by the Program Manager
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by connecting with the students and their families
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to enhance student learning
- Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience is required (CanSkate, NCCP or equivalent certification).
- Ability to teach and demonstrate high levels of Figure Skating.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively engage and motivate students
- Patience and understanding when working with diverse learners
