The _Global Analytics & Insights _mission is to improve the quality of the decisions taken on our oncology assets through the creation and delivery of excellent market, customer, and competitor analytics. This role supports our Global Oncology Diagnostics team and will lead the generation of insight and analytics for both late-stage brands and early-stage assets requiring biomarkers or diagnostics. _You’ll_ be part of a team that embraces the use _of _analytics activities as well as primary market research_ _to uncover deep and rich learnings, that also embraces the use of psychological tools to unlock the deeper drivers of human _behavior_._ _You may lean towards quantitative _or qualitative _market research and analytical _tools to explore the _Diagnostics space and_ will be interested in digging into the _diagnostics _market and customer dynamics that drive the numbers._
The key to excelling in this role is your ability to turn analysis into a clear story and recommendations for senior leaders. To develop these, you will be a critical thinker capable of delivering well researched, verified, and relevant analyses in a clear and impactful way. This requires the ability to lead without authority alongside strong analytical and communication skills. You will be comfortable formulating cohesive, strategic arguments which may be used to respectfully challenge a group of experts.
In addition, you need to be resourceful, motivated, decisive and proactive. You must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization and be confident working with incomplete data.
**You **Will**:
- Provide diagnostics market landscape and target customer analysis, to support commercial strategy development.
- Identify diagnostics insights gaps and develop insight generation plans.
- Identify, plan, and lead Qualitative & Quantitative market research with stakeholders involved in diagnostics specific decision making to enable insights to solve for those existing gaps in diagnostics landscape understanding and monitoring.
- Lead the integration of insights and analysis from a wide range of diagnostics data sources to inform material business decisions.
- Present analysis and synthesis to senior leaders in a way that is succinct, persuasive, and decision oriented.
- Lead insights generation and synthesis sessions with Global diagnostics and cross functional teams and develop slides to capture the storyline in a simple and clear way.
- Work closely with local markets to incorporate local market understanding and validate assumptions.
- Monitor testing rates and KPIs dashboards communicating the agreed source of truth.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a science, engineering, mathematics or quantitative discipline
- 4+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative primary market research, primary and secondary data analysis
- Curious mind, and ability to connect dots and synthesize insights.
- Ability to communicate clear narratives out of complexity - visually and orally.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Oncology experience
**Desirable Requirements**:
- Experience with a strategic consultancy
- Master’s degree in one of fields named above
- RWE analysis experience (e.g. claim data analysis, FlatIron, Diaceutics precision medicine data, ATU analysis); Oncology experience
- Expertise in statistical analysis tools, and data visualization
