**JOB SUMMARY**: The Outreach Healthcare Worker provides care to clients

in a manner that will respect the individual(s) & maintain their dignity.

CLIENTELE: Ten Youth and Adults (18 yrs-30 yrs) residing in Richmond, BC

The program mandate is to provide support and assistance for individuals with mental health conditions

living independently in Richmond, BC. Support will be provided by Administration,

Healthcare Workers (seven days a week) and the Psychiatric Nurse (five days per week)

**JOB DUTIES: Under the Supervision and/or Direction of the Administrator include**:
Home visits to monitor medications;
Housekeeping duties as needed ; Attending appts; Grocery shopping with clients;
Transporting clients to and from medical/dental/specialist & other appointments in coordination with administrator and nurse;
Communicating and documenting clients’ progress, concerns, needs or changes to Administrator, Nurse and co-workers.

Assisting with clients move ins/move outs. when required.

Other duties may be assigned when required.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

Applicants must be: Energetic; Sociable, have Written and Verbal Communication Skills

Applicants must be willing to work as a team member, accept direction, guidance and job changes

as necessary.

Current First Aid

Food Safe Level 1 Certification;
COVID immunization, TB test, Hepatitis B and Influenza Vaccination

Criminal Record Checks will be

for driving clients when needed, Uninsured Motorist Protection Coverage, and third

party liability coverage. This can be discussed at the job interview.

PAID MILEAGE RATE: as per BCGEU mileage rate

Orientation shifts and training is provided and paid.

UNION: BCGEU WAGE RATE and BENEFITS based on eligibility. Start Rate: $23.27/hr

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $23.27 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Food Safety Certification level 1 (required)
