We are seeking a Financial Advisor to join our team in Vancouver.
Bajus Financial Partners Ltd. is a growing financial services company that has been around since 1971. There are three parts to the Company, providing group benefit solutions to companies, providing pension solutions to companies, and individual insurance and wealth management.
Reporting to the Director Pensions and Corporate Wealth Management, the Financial Advisor will be responsible for servicing our individual insurance and wealth management businesses, assisting with new insurance and wealth sales, as well as assisting with the financial education of members of our pension/group retirement clients.
**The Financial Advisor will**:

- Work in a team based environment with the goal of providing the best possible client experience
- Communicate financial concepts to clients in a confident, clear and concise manner
- Conduct client investment reviews and make recommendations based on their financial plan and investment mix

**T**o be successful **as a** **Financial Advisor** with People Corporation, you will need**:

- At least 5 years of financial industry experience, with at least 2 of those dealing directly with clients.
- To possess mutual fund license/passed the MFDA licensing exam is a must
- Certified Financial Planner designation and/or an individual life insurance agent license is an asset. If not, must be willing to obtain
- To have knowledge of and being able to use software systems such as Action Pro for doing mutual fund trades, Salesforce for contact management, and a comprehensive financial planning program would be an asset
- Experience with Group RRSP, DPSP and pensions would also be an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to take financial concepts that can sometimes be quite complex, and communicate them to a client in a way that is understandable to them
- To be a “self starter”
- The ability to prioritize your work and your day
