**Job Summary**:
As a **Vivarium Technician** for our **Toxicology** team located in **Laval**, you will perform certain activities related to animal housing and animal arrivals while following the established processes.
In this role, primary** responsibilities**include:
- Perform sanitization of animal rooms and procedure rooms;
- Prepare rooms for animal arrivals;
- Perform animal arrivals and restraints;
- Perform rounds to collect waste and soiled materials;
- Perform all other related duties as assigned;
- Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) rules.

- Ability to manage time effectively;
- Ability to work autonomously and in teams;
- Being able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.);
- A good understanding of French is required.

- ** Transportation**: Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station;
- ** Salary**: $18.25/hrs;
- ** Premiums**: Evening ($2.50), Weekend ($2.75), Overtime (Time and a half), Holidays (Double time);
- Annual bonus based on performance plan;
- ** Schedule**: Flexible schedule, you must be available days, evening, and weekends (1/2). Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime night, and holidays;
- Permanent position as of the hiring, 37.5hrs per week.
