We are excited to be relaunching our very own Home Support Worker program for the 4th year in a row. This program is a great entry point into the healthcare field, offering **paid virtual classroom training**,** hands-on experience**, and potential **employment opportunities**upon completion.

**Location: This position is based within North Bay and the surrounding areas, including Sturgeon Falls, Mattawa, Callander, Thorne, and Powassan.**

**What is this program all about?**

You will:

- Learn the value and impact of home care in the community
- Support individuals with daily routines like bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene and peri-care.
- Receive training in household management, and safe mobility practices
- Build confidence in basic health assessments and reporting
- Become a trusted member of a multi-disciplinary care team

- A **clear Vulnerable Sector Screening check**
- **Strong interpersonal skills and able to connect with a variety of individuals**
- Full-time availability for the entire **10- week training period**
