**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Student Counsellor & Afterschool Program Manager to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of both local and international students. This role combines personalized student guidance with managing and enhancing our afterschool program to ensure a supportive and enriching experience that prepares students for university and beyond.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Student Counseling**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive counseling program to foster student success and university readiness.
- Provide individual and group support to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Mediate conflicts and offer strategies for resolution between students, teachers, and peers.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and community partners to create a supportive environment.
- Listen to students’ concerns, identify challenges, and develop actionable solutions to support them.

**Afterschool Program Management**:

- Plan, organize, and oversee the afterschool program and activities that align with students' interests, academic goals, and developmental needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages student growth and prepares them for university life.
- Supervise and manage student participation in afterschool programs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates about afterschool activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve program offerings to meet student needs.

**Additional Duties**:

- Assist the Principal in implementing school policies and procedures.
- Take on additional responsibilities based on school needs and priorities.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluency in Chinese (preferred) to support international students.
- Relevant experience in student counseling, education, or program management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with a diverse student body.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities to manage multiple responsibilities.
- A passion for supporting student growth and well-being in an inclusive environment.
- Familiarity with innovative educational practices is an asset.

**Salary**:
Compensation is based on experience.

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

- Monday to Friday
