We have an opening for a skilled AV Technician/Installer to add to our experienced team. As an established AV company, we often have opportunities to work on very interesting projects that are both challenging and greatly rewarding.
We operate in a team environment with plenty of learning opportunities.
Day to day activities includes planning projects, finding solutions, preparing installation / service materials, driving to work sites and execute work orders etc. Our AV Technicians/Installers generally work on projects that include system design / installation / servicing of Audio, Video & Lighting systems, Networking, Cameras and Security alarm systems.

Character & Abilities:

- Past AV technical and installation experience
- Understand basic electronics
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and run with tasks
- Basic troubleshooting skills essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Need to be a team player and self-motivated
- Have a desire to learn and follow directions
- Conduct yourself professionally & maintain appropriate work-place etiquette

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work alongside / under supervision of a Senior Technician / Project Manager
- Assist with installations/ servicing of Audio, Video, cameras and computer networking
- Includes building equipment racks, mounting displays, install wall brackets, ceiling mounts, speakers, projectors, pulling and terminate wire, install equipment as specified by manufacturer. Crestron and Control4 Home automation
- Ability to safely lift a heavy load (50lbs); climb a ladder; work in tight spaces
- With direction, perform simple programming of software / computer programs
- Occasionally build cables (Terminate connectors such as Cat6, Power-con, Audio)
- Working at heights; Safely operate Aerial platform lift
- Always adhere to Worksafe safety standards

Qualifications / Experience:

- Minimum of High School Diploma
- 2 Years work experience related to Audio, Video installation wok
- Experience working with products that includes QSC, JVC, DANTE, CRESTRON, Control4, DSC, Hikvision
- Basic Networking knowledge
- Working with hand / power tools in a safe manner
- Must be able to provide security clearances as required by Government security agencies
- You currently reside in the lower mainland

**Job Type**:

- Full-Time, Permanent

Salary / Wage:

- $48,000 to $70,000./yr to start depending on qualifications

**Benefits**:

Other:

- BC Class 5 Driver’s License required

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
