We’re on the hunt for an **Analyst I - Information Technology** on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

**Role**:
Install and maintain all office computer equipment for MDA employees. Maintain computer inventory and perform operator duties related to data backup. Position reports to the Head of Network Infrastructure and help desk.

**Tasks**:

- Inspect site, install and connect all personal computers, terminals, peripherals and related equipment to employee computers.
- Maintain a log of computer moves and repair to serviced equipment to analysis and tracking of calls. This also includes corrective actions taken to improve service and evaluate future service and to evaluate future equipment purchases.
- Manage network backup media, send and receive media from the vault, and ensure that the records are completed and filed.
- Retrieve files requested by the help desk from the backups.

**Qualifications required**:

- Interpersonal skills, analytical skills, ability to organize priorities.
- DEC or Technical diploma in IT/Electronics
- 2 to 3 years experience in operating and maintaining computers and peripherals
- Fluent in French and English
