**We have an immediate opening **for a **Material Handler.**

We have a position available on the following shift:

- **AM Shift 7:00 am - 3:30pm; Monday to Friday**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining shipping yard, storage areas and coil stock in a safe and organized manner.
- Deliver raw material to the production areas, remove and store finished goods.
- Communicating regularly during the shift with Supervisor’s on coil and material needs.
- Operating RF Scanners, bar coding etc.
- Weighing and returning unused and partial coils to coil storage.
- Move finished goods from stock boxes to storage locations.
- Receive incoming raw material shipments.
- May be assigned other duties as required.
- Safely operating metal forming equipment including riveting machines, saws, bending machines, etc. to produce formed metal parts.
- Making minor adjustments to the machine and process to meet quality requirements.
- Completing necessary paperwork.
- Performing more involved set ups and troubleshooting as your skills and aptitude allow
- Bundling materials.
- Operating other machinery as necessary.
- You would be on your feet and moving and lifting on a steady basis.

**Required qualifications for this role include**:

- Demonstrated safe work habits, good attendance and reliability.
- Forklift experience, **valid forklift certification** and ability to demonstrate satisfactory safety and operator skill and to maintain certification.
- Good knowledge of coils, materials and products.
- Knowledge of work order process and information.
- Ability to lift heavy parts as necessary.
- Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
- Self motivated, team player.
- Good decision making and problem solving skills.
- Strong English language verbal and written skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
