**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Create and Modify CAD Models**: Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for automotive components and assemblies using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
- **Drafting and Detailing**: Produce detailed technical drawings, including dimensions, materials, and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into designs.
- **Documentation**: Maintain organized records of all CAD files, drawings, and related documentation, ensuring version control and accessibility.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct thorough reviews of CAD models and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design specifications.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering and production teams regarding CAD-related issues and best practices.
- **Project Management**: Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure on-time completion of design tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Associate’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAD Technician, preferably in the automotive industry.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar). Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems is a plus.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating and reviewing CAD models and drawings.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.
- **Communication**: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- **Time Management**: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with automotive industry standards, materials, and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
