Hi, I’m Sarah. At BrandActive, I serve as a member of the EDI steering committee and leader of some internal functions including the People team. I’ve been at the organization for almost five years, and what’s kept me here is the ability to be my authentic self in all aspects of my role. **The Opportunity**
At BrandActive, it’s all about the people. As the Manager, EDI and Wellbeing, you will play a key role in fulfilling our cultural aspirations, sharing our EDI, mental health, and wellness strategies and operational plans.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Vladimir Kacar, you will be collaborating and building strong relationships across all aspects of the business, from talent management and community initiatives to marketing and vendor selection and communications.
**What You Will be Doing**:
- Working with key stakeholders to develop, define and deliver EDI, mental health and wellbeing strategies and plans.
- Facilitating executive level EDI steering committee in partnership with its members.
- Working with the Culture practice lead to engage with ERGs by gathering feedback, sharing best practice and championing their work; to maximize the impact and engagement of team members.
- Leading listening circles, focus groups or interviews to gather feedback related to EDI, mental health and wellbeing.
- Developing benchmarks and measuring organizational wellbeing and ROI.
- Creating and planning engaging learning content, EDI Calendar, internal communications, and external social media posts related to EDI, mental health and wellbeing, and cultural initiatives.
- Partnering with external vendors and consultants to deliver enhanced internal EDI, mental health and wellbeing learning and development programs.
- Contributing to the growth and development of colleagues by providing meaningful and relevant feedback.
**What you bring to the table**:
- You have been within a similar role, ideally a progressive small-to-medium sized company who has experienced similar growth.
- You have a deep, holistic understanding of the foundations of equity, diversity, and inclusion at work.
- You have and know the importance of implementing wellness initiatives at work.
- You can be acutely aware and have the experience of understanding the pulse and health of the team’s culture.
- You have exceptional interpersonal skills and can build relationships easily, with the ability to influence (for the positive).
- You have strong communication and presentation skills; able to adjust to the different audiences when needed.
- You are flexible and adaptable, comfortable with changing direction, iterating and working in a fast paced environment.
- You’re curious and always open to learning, recognizing sometimes mistakes are part of your growth.
- You are results-oriented with high energy and take accountability for your work.
- You have excellent computer skills including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar software(s).
