**ABOUT THE ROLE**

A Warehouse Receiving Associate will be responsible for maximizing productivity, quality, and inventory accuracy while performing material movement functions throughout the warehouse This position requires organizational skills and computer skills to learn all aspects of our incoming shipments, returns processing and restocking. Must react to changes productively and handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

**COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE**

$20.60 hourly

Tuesday - Friday (6am - ) full time

ONSITE

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory
- Place inventory into stock electronically and physically place on pallets or shelves as directed
- Restock shelves as inventory depletes
- Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
- Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse
- Utilize computers, printers, pallet jacks, stock chasers, forklifts, and other tools
- Ensure equipment is adequately maintained and in good working condition to complete the job
- Practice safety and take precautions to prevent merchandise from being damaged
- Participates in developing and improving Standard Work Practices for each area and consistently reviews them for effectiveness through team meetings and practice
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment within the warehouse
- Must react to changes productively and handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- Wrapping and staging pallets
- Must be willing to cross train

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
- Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
- Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
- In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

**WORKING ENVIRONMENT**
- The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
- The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
- Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
- Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
