**QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDITOR**

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Auditor for a permanent full-time position. The QA Auditor will work together with the organization to help continue to develop and maintain our quality management system. You will ensure that all regular auditing processes are followed and reported on, while working closely/reporting to our Quality/Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager. You will develop close working relationships with all stakeholders including floor staff, Team Leads, Managers and Owners of Lean Machine.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as an ambassador for quality and process compliance
- Participate in self-inspection / internal audit program
- Perform on floor auditing of 5S records/processes
- Verify Company Information Database (CID) records are accurate via sampling
- Utilize company SOPs and receiving controls to manage incoming materials
- Actively engage in the ongoing setup, management and improvement of our QMS
- Support the development and writing of compliant SOPs for Quality processes
- Assist with conducting investigations regarding deviations or complaints, including gathering of data, and identification of root cause
- Build and maintain good working relationships with manufacturing to promote openness, honesty and compliance
- Promote positive safety culture
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Have a desire to get into the quality assurance field
- Have a High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
- Ability to work according to production schedules and deadlines
- Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to handle changing demands
- Have a good working knowledge of use of measuring instruments, such as calipers and protractors
- Are comfortable with working in an Access Database which has been developed into an in-house app, and have above average computer skills & ability to learn independently
- Good understanding of math and quality control principles
- Excellent writing skills for the revision of policies and creation of reports
- Ability to work weekends as required to support operational requirements. This will not occur frequently but situations will arise that require this
- Quality experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset but not required

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
