Drywall Taper

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Smooth and sand drywall surfaces to prepare for painting or other finishes
- Fill cracks, holes, and surface imperfections with joint compound
- Install and finish metal and vinyl corner beads and other protective materials as required
- Ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to maintain a safe working environment

**Requirements**:

- At least 2-3 years of experience in drywall taping or a combination of relevant work experience and training
- Strong knowledge of drywall taping techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to work at heights and in various site conditions
- Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Trade certification or Red Seal (an asset but not required)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial drywall work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Comfortable using power sanders and other drywall tools

**Work Conditions**:

- Full-time, on-site position
- Typically works indoors on construction sites in various stages of completion
- May require working at heights or in confined spaces
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
