Helping Hands Nanny and Au Pair Services is looking for a passionate, responsible, and qualified childcare provider for a private family position in St Albert. If you believe you possess these qualities and are interested in this opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high quality childcare services in the family’s home.
- Create opportunities for physical activity and educational engagement with the child.
- Lead child in fun activities.
- Provide light household duties and meal prep as agreed upon with the family.
- Prioritize safety and well being of the child at all times.
- Assist in driving or walking children to and from school or activities if requested by the family.
- Administer medication or health care as directed by the family.
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Standard Childcare First Aid CPR Level B or First Aid CPR Level C is required.
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check.
- Early Childhood Educator Certificate Level 1, 2 or 3 considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of organization and multitasking skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback.
- Child-care related references will be requested.
Hours of work: 10 hours per week
Saturday and Sunday. 10 am to 3 pm
Hours to increase over time and may include weekday shifts.
Wage: Negotiable based on experience
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
Schedule:
- Every Weekend
