**Global Citrus Group** is the premiere supplier of citrus for grocery and big box stores in the country. We are a privately held company that is in a growth period. We are located in Brantford, Ontario and are looking for the right individual to become part of our team.

**Position Overview**: The role of the Shipper/Receiver is a key position within the plant at Global Citrus Group. The work of the Shipper/Receiver is to help load and unload trailers as product arrives and as orders need to be fulfilled. This is a fast-paced environment requiring you to be alert and pay great attention to detail.

**Main Purpose of the Job**:
To load and unload trailers or containers.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To load and unload trailers or containers.
- Order selection and picking.
- Supply raw product to production as needed.
- House finish product into coolers for storage.
- Pallet strapping and wrapping as required.
- Manage product using FIFO principles.
- Assist in all other production duties as required.
- General cleaning duties.

**Qualifications**:

- FLT and Power Jack Licence
- Physically Fit

**Working Conditions**:

- Ability to work shifts and weekends.
- Be able to work in coolers for short periods of time.
- Full-time Temporary/Fixed-Term Contract.
- Part-time Temporary/Fixed-Term Contract.
- Possibility for extension and to become permanent.
- Start times vary depending on shift, but can be as early as 6:30am

- Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- **Motion Parameters**_
- Sitting / Driving / Walking.
- **Vision and Hearing Requirements**_
- Be able to read H & S signage. Be able to hear vehicle horns.
- **Psychological Demands**_
- Problem Solving.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brantford, ON N3P 1J4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Power Jack Licence (preferred)
