*Job Overview:*

We are currently looking for a dedicated Temporary Retail Manager to join our team in a fast paced environment. As the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the staffing operations of our store, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in daily tasks. This role is crucial in maintaining a well-organized and productive work environment. You will be responsible for overseeing and performing various tasks related to sales, cash handling and reconciliation and ordering of inventory. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your strong organisational skills and passion for providing exceptional customer service.

This is a full time temporary position (2-6 months), Monday to Friday, day shift, 40 hours per week.

*Responsibilities:*
- Manage front counter activities including answering phones, greeting customers, and handling inquiries
- Coordinate vendor relationships and manage inventory supplies
- Coordinate payables and financial record-keeping
- Experience with hiring and supervising staff and provide guidance as needed
- Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee records
- Utilize Excel for financial transactions and reporting
- Perform clerical duties such as sales transactions, filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Assist customers with product inquiries, and maintain current promotions, discounts, and special offers
- Prepare sales reports and reconcile cash
- Manage inventory, including receiving and stocking of merchandise
- Communicate effectively with team members and and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

*Requirements:*
- Proven experience in management and related customer service roles
- Proficiency in using point of sale systems and other office equipment
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to manage customer and vendor relationships effectively
- Experience with budgeting processes and financial management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines
- Completion of a Clear Criminal Record Check

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
