Ballet Instructor

The School of Port City Ballet is seeking a **highly skilled and experienced Ballet Teacher** to join our faculty. We are a school and company dedicated to excellence in training and performance, offering programs that range from young dancers to our intensive pre-professional program.
**About the Role**
**Responsibilities**
- Teach ballet classes across various levels, from foundational training to advanced pre-professional students.
- Prepare students for examinations, auditions, and performances.
- Provide individual attention and mentorship, fostering both technical precision and artistic expression.
- Collaborate with faculty and artistic staff to support school performances and outreach initiatives.
- Serve as a positive role model for discipline, professionalism, and creativity.
**Qualifications**
- Advanced ballet training (recognized professional school or academy preferred).
- Professional performance experience with a ballet company (required or strongly preferred).
- Previous teaching experience at a high level, with demonstrated success developing students’ technique and artistry.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a supportive and motivating teaching style.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a faculty team.
