Is This Role for You?
We are seeking a dynamic Terminal & Airline Operations Specialist to support and lead efforts that elevate the passenger experience, optimize terminal operations, and integrate emerging technologies to help shape the future of our airport. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, monetizing our assets and maintaining strong airline and stakeholder relations—all while supporting the strategic modernization of our airport.
Day in The Life
1. Terminal & Day-to-Day Operations Oversight
- Monitor, assess, and improve daily terminal operations to ensure seamless passenger flow and facility readiness.
- Serve as the day-to-day operational point of contact for airlines, tenants, and service providers. Act as back-up to the IOC coordinators as needed for operational requirements.
- Proactively respond to irregular operations (IROPs), emergencies, and facility issues, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to limit the operational impact of outages

2. Stakeholder & Airline Relations
- Act as a liaison between the airport and airline operational teams, ensuring alignment on service standards, capacity planning, and resource needs.
- Conduct regular performance meetings with airline and terminal partners to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide input into gate assignments, schedules, and seasonal operation planning.

3. Innovation & Emerging Technology Integration
- Support the implementation of smart airport technologies including biometrics, AI-based passenger analytics, self-service systems, leveraging new technologies to improve efficiencies and OTP
- Work with IT and innovation teams to pilot and evaluate emerging solutions to enhance operational performance and customer experience.
- Identify process automation and digital transformation opportunities to improve efficiency across terminal operations.

4. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to recommend improvements in terminal throughput, staff allocation, and passenger services.
- Collaborate with facilities and maintenance teams to ensure terminal infrastructure supports operational goals and the needs of our partners.

5. Compliance, Safety & Regulatory Coordination
- In coordination with our partners to ensure we provide the terminal and technologies within our building to meet the regulations and standards set out by the governing bodies
- Participate in audits, safety inspections, and emergency response exercises.
- Support implementation of airport security protocols and customer service standards with our partners.
