**Overview**:
Join our team at** Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport** as a Banquet Server Bring your food service skills and passion for hospitality to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests during meetings, events, and special occasions. You’ll ensure seamless banquet service by providing professional, friendly, and attentive support throughout each event.

**What will you be doing as a Banquet Server?**
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly, courteously, and in line with banquet event orders
- Time the service of courses to match the pace of dining and guest experience
- Set up event spaces with condiments, tableware, and other pre-shift preparations
- Clear tables efficiently, removing dishes, glassware, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning
- Respond to guest requests and special needs quickly and professionally; escalate concerns to the Supervisor if needed
- Assist with room resets, including removing centerpieces, décor, and props, and returning them to storage
- Safely store reusable goods and maintain banquet room cleanliness
- Support with function setup, breakdown, and meal plating as required
- Follow all company and brand standards while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for guests
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Banquet Supervisor or Manager

**What are the requirements for this role?**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service or banquet experience an asset
- Ability to remain standing for long periods and move easily around event areas
- Able to lift, carry, and handle items up to 50 lbs (trays, tables, chairs, etc.)
- Comfortable bending, stooping, and kneeling as part of duties
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for working with guests, kitchen staff, and banquet team
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills used regularly for orders and setups
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food handler permit as required by local or provincial regulations
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Professional, courteous, and committed to providing excellent guest service
