**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling practices at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs of dishwashing equipment to management.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food service operations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
