**Location**

**Position Overview**

The City of Burlington is looking for certified Aquafit Instructors that love fitness, motivating people and are committed to delivering high quality, safe and enjoyable classes for all levels of participants. This position is a part-time position with a flexible schedule based on programming needs. Hours of work may include morning, afternoon, evening and/or weekend shifts.

**Responsibilities**

Aquafit Instructors are responsible for:

- Delivering deep and/or shallow fitness classes from the pool deck
- Choreographing fitness routines to music
- Modifying and adapting programs to suit various fitness levels

**Requirements**:

- One of the following certifications: Current CALA, WaterArt, YMCA or equivalent from an accredited organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for fitness
- The ability to inspire and motivate others

Preference will be given to applicants with previous fitness instructing experience.
